From the County of San Diego Communications Office
If you have a BenefitsCal account, it is important for you to make sure your information is up to date so that you don’t lose your CalFresh benefits.
You must be aware of your renewal date, which will arrive in the regular mail. Return your renewal packet as early as you can so you continue to receive food benefits with no interruptions.
Last year, about one-third of CalFresh beneficiaries did not meet the deadline or did not fill out their renewal paperwork correctly.
You can return your renewal packet in the regular mail, online, or in person.
