The Arbor Day Foundation has officially designated Fallbrook a Tree City USA town— a national honor recognizing communities that demonstrate exceptional commitment to urban forestry, environmental stewardship, and long‑term tree care.
This achievement reflects the unwavering dedication of Fallbrook Land Conservancy and its Save Our Forest Committee, whose volunteers have spent more than 30 years planting, pruning, protecting, and nurturing the trees that define Fallbrook’s natural character. Their decades of hands‑on work have shaped the thriving urban forest that now earns national recognition.
This designation is more than a title. It is a tribute to the thousands of hours donated by community members who believed Fallbrook’s trees were worth investing in—and proved it through consistent, long-term stewardship. The Tree City USA honor stands as a public acknowledgment of their vision, persistence, and love for the natural beauty of our village.
Fallbrook’s trees tell a story, and thanks to our community, it’s a story the nation now sees and celebrates.
To help continue these treescape efforts for the next generation, new volunteers are always needed and warmly welcomed. Visit https://www.fallbrookland.org/ for information on how to get involved.
